- As Director of Applied Sports Science at Rice University, I have continued to build out the Wisemetrics Sports Data Insight Platform utilizing the foundations of the DeWitt Method
- Increased development of Looker Dashboards and athlete specific reports for sports team clients
- Reviewing doctoral dissertation for Dr. Javair Gillett, for whom I served as his dissertation committee chairman

- Enrolled in Generative AI Bootcamp conducted by business-science.io
- Researching and beginning to use ChatGPT to revise, add comments, and add doctrings to code I write in R

Fun Stuff
After years of dealing with hip arthritis, I finally moved forward with a hip resurfacing surgery. I am two weeks out from the surgery and walking normal. The surgery was a little painful, but only for 48 hrs post-op. After that, I am just dealing with muscle stiffness. Once I am cleared to exercise, I hope to participate in the Houston Half-Marathon in January, 2025.
